`Jev Auto` is a picker alias, not an executor model. On each new Desktop user turn, the local policy checks the model allowlist, a bounded task excerpt, risk floor, prior route lease and context/cache hints. Jev normally proposes both a concrete model and reasoning effort. The policy validates them; Codex then executes the whole turn with that model, its native instructions, full conversation and existing ChatGPT login.
